Sarah hasn't really had a desire to obtain her driving permit. We were VERY ok with this. My mother thought this strange, so she encouraged Sarah to take the test, so Sarah did. She passed. All I can say is...Pay backs are HELL mom!

Tonto National Bridge with Thomas' Scout Troop
Thomas finds it funny that he can carry one
end of the stretcher by himself and the other end
is always carried by two of the smaller boys.
Thomas has decided that knowing First Aid is the
coolest thing ever and that Brother PJ Lewis is the
smartest guy in the medical field! He really looks
up to Brother Lewis. Thomas had a
First Aid clinic the weekend after this campout
and he decided that he wants to "be a doctor or
something."
Thomas has set a goal of earning more merit
badges then Andrew did. :)
Thomas came home happy and with lots of happy
stories to share with us. I can't tell you how
stressful it is for me to send my boys off on camp
outs. Situations come up that are negative. That's life.
I always fear however, that because of Thomas' bi-polar
disorder that he won't be able to
think clearly when a negative moment arises. Will he
know how to slow down and handle the situation
appropriately, or will he blow up? I'm so
grateful that it was a good experience this time. I
know it won't be every time, but it was this time!
